Meet the Lewis faimily!
In May of 2011, our Board of Directors selected Michelle and Randy Lewis of Manchester, to be our first family partners to live on Jennifer Lane in Manchester. Michelle and Randy have one son, Aiden, age 7 and were blessed with their second child, Gracie, who was born on July 21, 2011!
The photo was taken at the site of their new home on Jennifer Lane. They are standing where the family room will be in their new home.
October 2011 - Photo - left - Aiden Lewis pounds his first nail for his home. He was more than just a little bit excited. The ice and snow made a real challenge for us. We had to scrape off the ice from the joists and then had to melt and dry each joist before we could glue the decking to the joists. It was a challenge, but we managed to get it done.

Ground - Breaking Ceremony - September 17, 2011
Over 50 people gathered together to celebrate the the official start of the Lewis home and the Jennifer Lane project. Speakers included Bill West and Jeff Wilson, who served on the town committee in 1989 that called for the town to be proactive in bringing affordable housing to Manchester. Lee Krohn shared his perspective as Town Planning Director about the need for this project, and Susie Hunter shared her thoughts about her mother's, Irene Hunter's, strong interest in helping hard-working families to have safe, decent, and affordable housing in Manchester.

Greg Boshart of New Leaf Architects in Manchester, designed their home. We will use the special wall design, below - right to ensure a well insulated and highly energy efficient home.
It will be a two story home with a full basement.
In addition, we will build a shed for storage.
