Win Hoyt Golf Tournament - Save the date!  Wednesday, September 25, 2013 - 12:30 Shotgun Start

Get set to enjoy another fine fall day of golf all the time knowing that the proceeds help the Chamber of Commerce promote the Manchester and the Mountains area and Habitat to bring more affordable housing to our community.

Each year the Win Hoyt Tournament honors Win Hoyt, a longtime Manchester resident and former Chamber of Commerce director.  Win spent untold hours promoting skiing and travel in our Manchester region.  Win helped the region in any way he could.

The Habitat Win Hoyt Committee, includes Harry Chandler, John Cilio, Alison Hill, Bill Hoyt, Barbara Price, and Dick Malley.  They work closely with the Manchester and the Mountains Chamber of Commerce to organize and promote the annual Win Hoyt Golf Tournament.

Participants knew through enjoying a day of fun, they helped a hard-working family to realize their dream of living in a home they can call their own!  The event also raised funds that help the Chamber of Commerce to promote the Manchester and the Mountains area.

We are grateful to Casella Waste Management for sponsoring the Win Hoyt Golf Tournament.

Seventy players participated in the 20th Annual Win Hoyt Golf Tournament at The Manchester Country Club in support of the Chamber’s marketing efforts and Bennington Area Habitat for Humanity’s Jennifer Lane Project.  Despite damp weather, all had great fun teeing off on the greens of the Manchester Country Club.  Casella was the presenting sponsor of this event, and cart sponsors were Merchants Bank and Pyrofax. The Hoyt family and Vermont Kitchen Supply were team sponsors and they were joined by Super Tee sponsors Manchester Journal and Nemer Auto and 36 local companies who were Tee Sponsors. The Casella team was low gross team winner and the Rising Sun Maintenance team of Dorset was the low net team winner. Thanks and congratulations to all!
