Basic information for volunteers who wish to help build
Directions - From the north or south - take Route 7 to the Manchester exit - go east onto Route 11/30. Go 1/2 mile - take a right after Atlantic Painting on Jennifer Lane. Go straight to the back of the circle - park along side the road but do not block a driveway.
Individuals can self-schedule - come whenever and as often as they want.
Groups of four or more people need to be scheduled in advance. Please contact us by email or by phone (802) 367-1000. The Group Schedule is listed on the box on the left side of this page.
Information for Volunteers Volunteers should plan to arrive no earlier than 8:30 a.m. We usually work to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. People are welcome to work as long or as little as their time allows.
It is good to bring work gloves. A mid-morning snack will be provided. If you plan to work after lunch, it is best to bring yourself something to eat. All volunteers must sign a release form before they work the first day. You can download the form for ADULTS and volunteers ages 16 and 17 (MINORS). Don't hesitate to call 802-367-1000 with questions.
Site Safety - It is very important that you know and practice our basic safety rules. Please download a copy. We urge volunteers to take the Site Safety Quiz put together by Lockton - our insurance carier. To login use this code W8NAEBTG
Unskilled Help with Construction
Skilled Help with Construction
We always need help from volunteers who are experienced with any aspect of construction. In particular, it is very helpful when those people with special skills are willing to assist others who have little or no experience.
