HABITAT NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!
Work at the ReSale Store and help on the Build Sites. Everyone is welcome. No experience is needed, and we provide training. Come learn a new skill. Come help a family realize their dream of a decent, affordable home.
First time volunteers need to complete a release form that is available at the site or by downloading it WaiverAdultMinor.pdf

From a conversation with Millard Fuller, the founder of Habitat for Humanity, 1996, at the U.N. Habitat II Conference in Istanbul, Turkey: Habitat depends on Volunteers. "In Habitat for Humanity...we depend on volunteers. Volunteers who care about their fellow human beings in need. Volunteers who give their money, their time and God-given talents. These volunteers form partnerships with each other, with churches, other organizations, and with people in need. This partnership disregards social status, gender, color of skin, cultural differences, faith differences. We call this 'the theology of the hammer.' The theology of the hammer brings together all kinds of people, all kinds of organizations, all kinds of churches and religious traditions, and all kinds of institutions to build and renovate houses with and for needy families. We are a Christian organization, but not exclusive, and not doctrinal. Our desire is to put faith and love to work. To make a difference. To change things and change people for the better."
Volunteers at the ReSale Store are always needed. Visit our ReSale Store Link on the main menu for more information. Thank You!
