Construction – This committee is responsible for developing and monitoring all aspects of our construction schedule. It works closely with each home buyer to determine the final home design.

Homeowner Association - Jennifer Lane The HOA is legally responsible for the management, maintenance, operation and administration of the Common Areas and Facilities, easements and affairs of the Jennifer Lane Homeowners Association in accordance with the Planned Community Documents and laws of the State of Vermont. Beyond the legal responsibility it is the Declarant’s (BAHfH’s) intent that the HOA will make decisions that will reach out to Jennifer Lane residents who are not a part of the HOA to include them in neighborhood events and activities and will be mindful of their needs so as to facilitate a positive spirit of cooperation and good feeling amongst all the neighbors. All homeowners on lots purchased from Habitat on Jennifer Lane in Manchester are members of the HOA and receive one vote per household.

Home Owner Selection and Support – This committee is responsible for conducting a search, selecting Habitat home buyer partners, and for assigning and supervising support partners. Every Habitat home buyer is supported in all aspects of home ownership from the time of selection through the end of the first year of home ownership.

Finance - This committee is responsible for monitoring all expenses. It prepares an annual budget that serves as a planning tool and works with each committee chair to insure that we make the best use of limited funds.

Resource Development – It currently costs between $150,000 and $175,000 to purchase land and to pay for building supplies and professional services. To realize our goal of building two homes a year we need to raise a minimum of $350,000 in gifts and donated materials and services a year. This committee is responsible for coordinating all fund raising activities.
Site Procurement - This committee is actively seeking 'open land' for new construction and/or properties to be renovated for future Habitat homes in Bennington County. Donated properties are most appreciated, and may be used as a tax deduction by the donor. Win Hoyt Golf Tournament - The Win Hoyt Committee works closely with the Manchester and the Mountains Chamber of Commerce to organize and promote the annual Win Hoyt Golf Tournament. held each fall, usually in late September.
