We started the excavation for our 10th home on April 30. We had volunteers to the site for the first time on May 16. We finshed the build on November 18, 2009.

We are planning now for the next build, at 310 Silver Street in Bennington. We plan to being in late April or early May. Please check back for updates in the early spring.

Information for Volunteers Volunteers should plan to arrive no earlier than 8:30 a.m. We usually work to until 3:00 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. People are welcome to work as long or as little as their time allows. It is good to bring work gloves. A mid-morning snack will be provided. If you plan to work after lunch, it is best to bring a sandwich. Don't hesitate to call 325-6530 with questions.

Individuals can self-schedule - come when and how often they want.

Groups, however, need to be scheduled in advance. We try to insure that we do not have too many volunteers on any one date. If you would like to schedule a group, please contact John Cilio by email or by phone (802) 375-9653.

Unskilled Help with Construction
We welcome volunteers with little or no experience. There is almost always work that can be done by people who do not have much experience.
